The True Meaning of "Spinning on The Ones & Twos"

For those who might not understand my "Deejay Term" ->>~Leave a question on the comments for better a explanation.~

"One Night Only. Ladies free before 11:00pm. Special Guest Deejay Spinning on the Ones & Twos."

A friend gave me a flyr with this quote. Since I knew the host, I decided to go.

For some reason I would always tend to hang around the Deejay both.

When I noticed his equipment, I just started to laugh. ->> Hahahahaha.

Reason why? ....False Advertisment.

This guy was Working with two piers of CDJ:1200 and a mixer.

Where's The Ones & Twos?

If your in the music entertainment business, please now what your working with.

"The Ones and Twos" is a an other way of saying two TurnTables.
(One on the left and the other one on the right with a mixer in between)

Its the most important and the most fragile equipment out of a full set.

The definition clearly states that the One's and Two's are know as turntables.
My point is that if your going to use the saying of One's and Two's, make sure you know what your working with.

  2. Lets see, the ones and twos that you seen, are the new turntables. Lots of older DeeJays would prefer to work with the real turntables, but don't want to carry all thoes records with them. Didgitel makes it easyier to have all your music with you now days, when records don't.

  3. @Moon: CDJ are not turntables...the Cd players and will always be CD players. All they do is imitate the TT.
Turntables use TC Vinyls to work with digital music.
